Simone Riccio was born in Napoli, Italy on August the 22nd 1978.

In 1996 he started to dedicate himself to juggling as hobby. During this period he was the director of photography in projects as the video clips of “Marina Rei” and “Timoria”, who are famous singers in Italy.

After that, he decided to improve his juggling and his acrobatic.
Therefore he went to study in two professional circus schools: in “Carampa” in Madrid and then in London at “Circus Space”, where he  learned about contemporary circus and was able to specialize himself on the “German Wheel”.

In the last years he has been working as performer in different circus companies in Europe and Argentina.

In Argentina he’s been working with the show“Sanos y Salvos”of the company La Arena in the period of March-May 2006 (dir. Gerardo Hochman) www.sanosysalvos.com.ar.
In Europe he’s been working with the show Around The World of 360degrees company in several festival in the period march-settember 2007 (dir. Ruben Garcia) www.360degreescompany.com
Since January 2008, he is performing with Tabu, latest contemporany circus show of Nofit State Circus. (dir. Firenza Guidi) www.nofitstate.org.

At the moment with Tabu his touring in Bruxelles (Belgium), Touluse (France), Bath (England), Montreal (Canada), Edimburg (Scotland) till the 3th of September 2010.
